PowerSchool: Data Day Pt. 2

Join us for part 2 of our Data Day Session.  We will continue on with the additional practice scenarios. Data Day is a scenario-based class that explores various aspects of data in PowerSchool including table structure and relationships, using DDE/DDA, importing and exporting data using Quick Import/Export, and Data Import/Export Manager. We also spend time manipulating and analyzing data in Excel. If you are interested in working with data in your PowerSchool database and want to learn what you can do in a spreadsheet application (Excel/Google Sheets), then this class is for you.

EMIS Alliance Training - Troubleshooting CTE Reports

CTE FTE reports are generated for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) who have students reported with CTE EMIS data. CTE program funding is generated through CTE FTEs which are part of the CTE FTE reports. This presentation will provide data verification and error resolution guidance. This presentation will cover CTE Level 2 reports. It is recommended that attendees have access to their own reports as well as the CTE FTE Report Explanation, the FY25 CTE Program and Assessment Matrix, along with information about their own CTE programs including copies or electronic access to CTE-26 information.

EMIS Alliance Training - Where Kids Count Report (WKC)

Through the EMIS Alliance Grant, Connect will again be providing training on how to troubleshoot the Where Kids Count Report (WKC) report. The Where Kids Count Report is generated using EMIS data from traditional districts, community schools, and STEM schools. It contains result codes that indicate where the student will count if the student is included in accountability measures This presentation will focus on troubleshooting the WKC reports and verify data for accuracy and completeness.

EMIS Alliance - Working Assessment Missing List

Assessment missing reports can be used prior to and after receiving assessment results to review students for whom test results are expected and who do not have results reported.  This is not a comprehensive assessment training but rather a focused session on working with assessment missing reports.  EMIS Staff should work closely with testing staff to ensure student assessments are reported to EMIS correctly and completely. We will be looking at all assessment records and taking a look at the missing reports.  We will view the Score Not Reported Reasons and when this may be necessary.  Districts should work with others in the district to determine why students did not take an assessment.
