EMIS Alliance Troubleshooting FY26 Teacher Course Licensure Status (TLCS) (Zoom) 9:00am-12:00pm

Through the EMIS Alliance Grant, Connect will be providing training on how to troubleshoot the FY26 Teacher Course Licensure Status (TLCS) Report. In this training, we will discuss the report and how to use it to verify staff and course collection data. This certification and licensure data will appear on the Local Report Card (LRC) published by DEW fall 2026. To ensure the most recent data is being reviewed, prior to this training, please extract and process the FY26 Staff and Course Collection data set, including processing and submitting to DEW by 4:59pm the FRIDAY before the training, so DEW may process and publish the latest level 2 reports and/or received files for analysis. The zoom link and handouts will be emailed to the pre-registered participants the evening before the training, along with a calendar invite.

This virtual session is designed to share any recent CrossCheck updates. We will share and discuss best practices in a collaborative fashion.  Discussion will be focused around EMIS formatted data files, as the CrossCheck system is based on Data Collector data and not source data systems. We will gather any suggestions for additional data dashboards, data checks, and/or data outputs. We look forward to a professional and engaging learning session!

We will create a collaborative shared document to gather relevant EMIS related questions and/or topics in advance of the monthly EMIS work session.  We will have an EMIS Topic of the month to discuss (i.e. EMIS Collection, etc.) Discussions with peers about EMIS sub-systems and/or EMIS related reporting questions and various stand operating procedures will be discussed collaboratively.  These sessions are inclusive of all EMIS professionals using PowerSchool for local, state and federal reporting.  We will pace the topics discussed as we focus on specific EMIS Collections and EMIS Records and EMIS Elements.
