Quarterly Liaison PLC/PD Day to receive updates related to Sirsi Workflows and the INFOhio electronic resources, along with opportunities to network with fellow librarians. This meeting will take place at the Vivian von Gruenigen, MD STEM Center of Excellence at Camp Ledgewood, located at 6751 Akron Peninsula Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264.

Monthly review of new features/enhancements associated with the newest Campus Release.

This virtual session is designed to share any recent CrossCheck updates. We will share and discuss best practices in a collaborative fashion.  Discussion will be focused around EMIS formatted data files, as the CrossCheck system is based on Data Collector data and not source data systems. We will gather any suggestions for additional data dashboards, data checks, and/or data outputs. We look forward to a professional and engaging learning session!

We will have an EMIS Topic of the month to discuss (i.e. EMIS Collection, Data Area, Common Q's, etc.). Discussions with peers will be about EMIS sub-systems and/or EMIS related reporting questions, and various stand operating procedures will be discussed collaboratively.  These sessions are inclusive of all EMIS professionals using PowerSchool for local, state and federal reporting.  We will pace the topics discussed as we focus on specific EMIS Collections, reports and systems, while building and enhancing foundational knowledge across all experience levels. 2026's OBBB overtime rule changes had many of us nervous and confused. Now that we're a few months into the year, please join us for a discussion of your concerns and successes. The fiscal team will discuss processes for entering overtime and available tools in USPS. Additionally, we hope that districts can share with one another how they have adapted and how they have approached these new rules.

Each monthly meeting highlights upcoming EMIS reporting deadlines, reminders, and other EMIS-related items that may need to be discussed. The draft meeting agenda will be sent to EMIS Coordinators the Monday prior to the meeting to allow any other district staff to attend if needed.

May EMIS Open Lab

The Department of Education and Workforce is leveraging the EMIS Alliance Grant and ITC participation to assist EMIS coordinators and other key district and school personnel to improve the ability of educators to better explore, understand, and communicate with school data in a meaningful way. The Tools for Troubleshooting Data Associated with Report Card Measures workshop is different than other EMIS offerings because the intended audience is for district teams, including the EMIS coordinator along with other district and building level administrators who play a role in assuring accurate report card data.   This in-person-only EMIS Alliance workshop will include real data troubleshooting opportunities reflecting some of the reporting issues experienced with the Report Card. It will address the various reports available in the Secure Data Center to assist districts and schools in reviewing their data and decision-making.  It will also address the importance of assigned data owners for the various data sets that impact Report Card measures as well as building strong data teams that actively engage in ensuring accurate data is reported.   We are pleased to offer Tools for Troubleshooting Data Associated with Report Card Measures for your district team on the dates and times noted below. It is intended for at least two district/school administrative staff and the EMIS coordinator to work together with the goal of understanding how the reported data impacts the Report Card. Concepts covered in this course will include:  

• Assessments: Acceleration Bump, OELPA and ALT OELPA – calculating improvement, and Third Grade ELA
• Early Literacy: Reading Diagnostics and Improving at Risk K-3 Readers, and Promotion to 4th Grade
• CCWMR: Adding Traditional District Work Based Learning
